Are there restrictions on the use or purchase of Shipt gift cards?

Gift cards are non-transferable: Gift cards are usually non-transferable and can only be used by the person to whom they were issued.
No Cash Redemption: Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash. If an item is bought using credits that were redeemed from a gift card, and the user wants to request a refund for that order, the refund will be issued only as credits. Refunds cannot be issued to any other payment method.
Purchase restrictions: Gift cards can't be used to purchase alcohol, for the cost of a Shipt membership, or towards a shopper tip.

How do I redeem a Shipt gift card?
- If you have an existing Shipt account, you can redeem a Shipt gift card by entering the code received via email on either your digital wallet, available under Account settings, through the Shipt app, or on shipt.com.
  
  If you are new to Shipt, you'll first need to create a Shipt account to redeem your gift card.

Can pay for my order using a gift card?
- If it's a Visa, or a similar reloadable gift card, then yes! At this time, store gift cards cannot be used towards Shipt orders.
  Shipt gift cards can be redeemed in the Shipt app for Shipt credits which will automatically apply at checkout.
  Otherwise, we can only accept debit or credit cards in the app.
