No, a Shipt membership is not required to shop with your SNAP EBT card. However, you will need a Shipt account to place an order. You would also need a second form of payment for any delivery fees, service fees, tips, etc. One benefit of purchasing a membership is $0 delivery fees on orders of $35 or more.
You can add items to your order up to an hour before your delivery or pickup window begins. If the additional item cost for any SNAP-eligible items exceeds the original SNAP EBT order total, these items will be charged to your secondary payment method.
If you want to increase the amount charged to your EBT card, please cancel your order, select the “Reorder” option, add the additional SNAP-eligible items to your new cart, and then checkout using your EBT card.
